Goldberg machine |
Goldberg machine is a device which causes simple effect by a process as complicated as possible.
The expression is named after Amercian cartoonist and inventor Rube Goldberg (1883–1970).
I have designed and created many of these chain-reaction machines, which consisted for example:
uphill going tires, movement detectors, vacuum-cleaners, helium balloons, mini catapults etc.
